Evangeline Lilly, 43, recalled an awkward situation that happened backstage on the set of the new Marvel movie, “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”, which opened this month in theaters. She said that, during the filming of a scene with several children, she told co-star Michael Douglas that she would like to “have sex with him”.
The actress explained that she recorded the scene with Michael and Michele Pfeiffer, who play her parents in the production, and said that they looked like “grandmothers that she would like to have sex”, using a term commonly seen in the pornographic industry.
“There was a day on set, we were going to record a scene in a restaurant, we were still in the waiting room and there were several children,” he explained in an interview with Jonathan Ross’ program. “I turned to Michael and Michelle and said, ‘you know, you two are real GILFs.’ Michael didn’t understand at all and asked what a GILF was.”
“Instead of changing the subject, I explained to him, in a room full of children, ‘It’s a grandpa I’d like to have sex,'” he said with a laugh.
Despite the funny situation, Evangeline said that Michael and Michelle are her idols. “They’re so cool. You don’t want to meet your icons because you’re afraid they’ll let you down, but they’re cooler than you think. They’re awesome,” she said.
