Our childhood is our starting point and sometimes it becomes painful when we go back to memories that hurt us deeply. But sharing these memories with someone who understands us is the best therapy. That’s what her patients do Doctor (Maria Naufliotou) in her new episode “storgis”, tonight at 21.00.
THE Agni (Sofia Priovolou) he was an emotionally neglected child, who had everything but was not happy. She let her fears drive her through life and in the end, paralyze her. “It’s time for her to love herself so she can be loved.”
THE Christos (Giorgis Tsouris) he narrates his past; his poor childhood, his strict parents, the harsh treatment of his rich neighbors and his difficult attempt to climb socially and economically. In the person of Agni, he found the opportunity to “take revenge for this painful past”.
THE Kaiti (Nefeli Kouri) he’s in a dark tunnel and can’t get out. She recalls her stepfather and the abuse she received from him, but also her mother who did not believe her and kicked her out of the house, choosing her husband and not her own daughter. Kate “cannot love herself, because she was never loved by her mother”.
Episode 21 – “The Truth Hurts”
In the doctor’s office, Agni learns to love herself again in order to get her life back. Her chance meeting with Orestes unsettles her, but makes her realize a lot. Meanwhile, her husband, Christos, feels the need to talk to the Doctor himself.
Kaiti relives the memories that hurt her deeply, when she decides as a small child to talk to her mother about the abuse she receives from her stepfather. Not only does she not believe her, she kicks her out of the house.
