The first stop for Dimitris Skarmoutsos is Bread BC, a brand new bakery created by Periklis Vourthis that makes slow-ripened sourdough bread, as well as French puffs, fluffy croissants and delicious sandwiches.

Next is Six Season Kitchen, a small shop with food influenced by Greek but also new American cuisine and a menu that changes 6 times a year since its menu focuses on the seasonality of the products.

The continuation is given to Local Pub which was created 12 years ago by Fotis Anastasiou as a British pub, now next to it is a microbrewery in which its creator is constantly experimenting with new beer labels.

Dimitris Skarmoutsou’s tour of Chalandri concludes with a stop at “Vrastos”, a family restaurant that became known for what its name says. Boiled veal, juvetsi, chicken soup and other mamadist foods that are worth trying.
