King Charles III: who are the artists who refuse to sing at the coronation ceremony

by

The coronation ceremony of King Charles 3rd, which will take place on May 6th and will formalize him as king after the death of Queen Elizabeth 2nd, is having some obstacles in terms of attractions. Celebrities and prominent singers from the United Kingdom were invited to attend the celebration, but declined the invitation. Harry Styles, Adele and Elton John are among some names that said “no” to the invitation.

The former One Direction is performing with the tour “Love On Tour”, which passed through Brazil at the end of last year, has scheduled shows close to the date of the coronation. According to the newspaper The Sun, a person involved in the preparations for the party said that Elton John claimed that the date was incompatible with the European tour he is doing, but there is speculation that he declined the invitation due to the friendship he had with Princess Diana, ex-wife of Charles.

Other cast members who will not be present at the coronation are the Spice Girls, Ed Sheeran and Robbie Williams. “Organisers are working around the clock to assemble an exciting lineup but face many challenges,” the paper reported.

Despite consecutive negatives from the artists, names like Lionel Richie, Olly Murs, the group Take That (without Robbie Williams, who left the formation) and Dannii Minogue confirmed their presence.
