Padma Lakshmi is back with the second cycle of the documentary series “Taste the Nation”. The food and travel series will begin streaming on Hulu soon.
In season two, the Indian-born American author, actress and model and television host continues her quest to take viewers on a tour of the US and examine the various groups that have influenced modern American cuisine.
Padma Lakshmi, who is the show’s host and executive producer, posted photos of her visit to a Ukrainian restaurant in New York and her participation in a Cambodian community celebration in Lowell, Massachusetts.
The new episodes feature Greek cuisine when Padma Lakshmi visits Tarpon Springs, Florida, and Nigerian cuisine during her visit to Houston.
The holiday special “Taste the Nation: Holiday Edition” won the James Beard Foundation Award in the Long-Term Visual Media category. Padma Lakshmi won Best Host for ‘Taste the Nation’ at the Real TV Critics’ Choice Awards.
