Super League 2: On Wednesday the elections for a new president

For next Wednesday at 12:00, the elections for the election of a new president in Super League 2 have been set, after resignation of Leonidas Leutsakos.

Nominations are due by Monday at 11:00 a.m., although so far there has been no official candidate for the widow’s seat. It is, however, considered a given that the three days we are going through will culminate in the consultations.

It is recalled that the league will restart March 10-13 with the conduct of the 14th competition.

The announcement:

We inform you that on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., at the Union’s offices (Themistokleous 42/ 4th floor), a meeting of the Board of Directors of Super League 2 will be held, with the following items on the agenda:

1. Election of President

2. Miscellaneous Matters.

Nominations for the position of President can be submitted until Monday 6.3.2023 at 11:00 at the offices of the Union.

In the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors socially and professionally distinguished persons are elected, who hold an A.E.I. degree. or have at least ten years of experience and expertise in the field of professional sports and in particular professional football, submitting together:

a) Complete curriculum vitae

b) Copy of degrees or documents proving their administrative experience and expertise in the field of professional sports.

c) Responsible declaration that they do not fall under the obstacles of the sports law, as it applies from time to time and the obstacles provided for in the statutes of the E.P.O.

d) Full copy of criminal record dated one month before its filing.

Nominations for the position of President may be made by one of the representatives of the A2 category PAEs or by a third person who is not a member of the Board of Directors. PAE or shareholder of PAE.
