Police launch inquiry to investigate Tiago Toguro in accident that caused death

The Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro, through the 21st DP (Bonsucesso) launched an inquiry to investigate the causes of the accident that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist on Linha Amarela (RJ). The man collided with the back of fitness influencer Tiago Toguro’s car.

Toguro, who has more than 6 million followers on social networks, denied that he had any involvement in what happened during the early hours of Friday (3). The main reason for the investigation will be to find out if he backed up at the moment when he supposedly missed the entrance to an avenue.

Through social networks, Toguro said that he never made such a maneuver, but that he could not give many details due to the guidance of his lawyers. “I can say that from the moment of the accident, I stayed at the scene, I waited for the victim to receive medical care, I made myself available to the authorities so that the blood alcohol test and toxic substances could be carried out. I waited for the police to carry out the technical expertise Civil and I was released.”

The influencer says he has already maintained contact with the motorcyclist’s family and was in favor of an agreement. “Since the moment of the accident I haven’t been well, that’s why the silence and for this reason I preferred not to pronounce and respect the mourning of family and friends. Knowing that no value will bring back the victim, much less ease the suffering and pain of those who loved him.”

INFLUENCER ANNOUNCES HE WILL BE A FATHER

Hours after the accident happened, Toguro published a video on his YouTube channel in which he told the news that he would be a father with his girlfriend Nara Paraguaya.

“The penny still hasn’t sunk in. I was never what I am now: father, family. Now I have a son, a continuity. It takes my last name to another level. May you accompany his growth from the beginning. May it be a boy, to train with us,” he said.
