Nikolakopoulos: “The ‘key’ to Olympiakos’ 25 goals is one”

by

On the occasion of yesterday’s comprehensive victory of Olympiakos against Levadeiakos, Kostas Nikolakopoulos speaking on his show News Bulletin 247 with Antonis Panoutsos and Antonis Karpetopoulos reminded that this was the team’s fifth game after the interruption of the championship, due to the World Cup, in which Olympiacos scores between four and six goals.

They were preceded by 4-1 against Atromitos, 5-0 against Asteras, 4-0 against Volos and 6-1 against Panaitolikos, as he reminded and then emphasized that in all five matches Olympiacos scored 25 goals had one thing in common: In the first ten minutes they were ahead of the score with 1-0.

“It is clear that the… key for Olympiakos is to enter their games strongly and thus take either a lead in the score or – what we call – the psychology of the match“, said the reporter of the Red Whites and added:

“He did it once and in a big match, the one last season with him Panathinaikos and we saw that the good start helped him to dominate despite the fact that Bakabu missed the big chance to open the scoring in the fourth minute. This is what Olympiacos should do in all their games and not see what was happening in the first half of the season where in most matches in Greece and Europe they were behind with a score of 1-0 at quarter time and lost everything”he said.
