Sasha says she questioned Xuxa about being born without an anus: ‘In my head, I always had one’

In an interview with the Poddelas podcast this Thursday (9), model and stylist Sasha Meneghel, 24, commented on the rumor that she was born without anus. “Let’s clear this up once and for all,” said Xuxa’s daughter.

Sasha started by explaining that the condition really exists, but she denied being born with it. Anorectal malformations or anomalies are when the anus or rectum (lower part of the intestine) does not develop properly. From this, several abnormalities can happen – among them, the presence of a membrane in the anal opening.

The model said that, due to the repercussions of the rumor, she questioned whether or not she was born with the condition. She then needed to confirm with her mother. “I asked my mom and it’s not true,” she clarified. “‘Mom, are you hiding something from me and people know something I don’t?’ Because, in my mind, I always had one. And she’s like, ‘No, it’s okay’.”

“Where did this rumor come from?” asked Tata Estaniecki, one of the hosts of the podcast. “I don’t know, man. There’s a lot,” Sasha replied. “Every other week, they say ‘Sasha is pregnant’. [boato] of pregnancy happens a lot, very often”.

Throughout the interview, which lasted just over two hours, Sasha also talked about her marriage to musician João Figueiredo, her friendship with actress Bruna Marquezine, her life in New York and even played with a tongue twister involving the names of her family: ‘Xuxa, Sasha peed on the living room floor’.
