Amazon founder, wealthy Jeff Bezos, 57, has drawn attention for his looks. On New Year’s Eve, he sported a full-color, printed shirt and a stronger body, which filled the internet with new memes.
Some have compared him to Agostinho Carrara, a character played by Pedro Cardoso in “A Grande Família” (Globo). “Jeff Bezos turned around with a look half Vin Diesel half Agostinho Carrara”, joked some Brazilians.
Other followers noticed other similarities. “Jeff Bezos is just inches away from becoming a Pitbull,” commented one follower referring to the Cuban-American rapper.
“Jeff Bezos’s physical transformation sounds like one of those Spider-Man villains origins story,” wrote another. Even the muscular physique he’s sported alongside his girlfriend, TV presenter Lauren Sanchez, has made for more jokes.

In 2021, the founder of Amazon bought a super yacht measuring about 127 meters. The boat is so big that it has a “support yacht”, which even has a helipad, according to Bloomberg. The yacht is valued at around US$500 million, which equates to more than R$2.8 billion.
According to the Dutch manufacturer of the luxury yacht, Oceanco, the ship is called Project 721, but the company has not released further details. According to Bloomberg, the money disbursed to buy the yacht is a fraction of the US$75 billion (approximately R$426 billion) that Bezos earned in 2020.
