Mc Guimê and Cara de Sapato were indicted by the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro, this Thursday (27), for the crime of sexual harassment within the BBB 23. The information was confirmed by Cara de Sapato’s lawyer, Ricardo Sidi, to F5 . The two former participants were expelled after the alleged abuse against the Mexican Dania Mendez, within the reality show.
The Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro did not comment on the case, as it is being kept confidential. “According to the Police Station for Assistance to Women (Deam) of Jacarepaguá, the investigation was concluded and sent to the Public Prosecutor’s Office”, he informed, in a note. F5 sought out delegate Viviane da Costa Ferreira Pinto, head of Deam, who reinforced the text.
Cara de Sapato’s lawyer, Ricardo Sidi, stated that he “frontally disagrees with the delegate’s understanding”. “Although the crime of sexual harassment does not depend on the victim’s initiative, the State and the criminal law cannot disregard the clear, lucid and spontaneous manifestation of the victim in the sense that, in his intimate judgment, there was no harassment, embarrassment or disrespect”, he points out, in a note.
Mc Guimê’s lawyer, José Estevam, was contacted by F5 and did not return until the publication of this report.
The investigation against the ex-brothers opened on March 16.
