According to the so-called “notice of deficiency,” the 41-year-old star owes an additional tax of $805,850 for the year 2018 and $1,442,747 for 2019, as well as a combined penalty of $449,719.40. In her petition, filed April 17, Beyonce claims the IRS erred when it denied millions of dollars in deductions, including more than $850,000 in charitable contributions in 2018.

Taxpayers within the US have 90 days from the date of the notice to file a challenge to the initial assessment.
