Fernando Alonso, Spanish Formula 1 driver, seems to have enjoyed playing with the hearts of Taylor Swift fans. It is the second time that he makes a publication on TikTok to the sound of a song by the singer after rumors that the two would be dating. Swift recently ended a six-year relationship with actor Joe Alwyn and, according to the DeuxMoi website, she and Alonso would be getting to know each other.
In the video published this Friday (28), Alonso is at the gym and lifts a 22 kg dumbbell. In the background, he plays the song “22”, by Taylor Swift, and the pilot appears giving a wink at the end of the recording. “I’m lifting 22,” he wrote in the caption.
The script looks the same as the first video Alonso made amidst the rumours. In it, he appeared listening to Taylor Swift’s hit “Karma” and giving the same cryptic wink at the end.
Brazilian fans of the singer reacted to the publication quickly. “He is committed to making this a reality,” commented one netizen. “Guys, he got into character. Taylor, give the guy a chance,” wrote another.
In the same week that Swift announced her breakup, Alonso revealed that he is single and that his relationship with journalist Andrea Schlager had come to an end.
