A separate short film will be released on Disney+ from the T animation serieshe Simpsons in celebration of Star Wars Day on the 4th of May. In ‘Maggie Simpson in Rogue Not Quite One’ viewers will see two of Disney’s biggest franchises come together for the occasion.

Star Wars Day is celebrated every year on May 4 and was established when fan groups began to appear en masse on Facebook with the slogan “May the Fourth be with you” (The 4th of May with you) a variation of the famous phrase from the science fiction film series “May the Force be with you” (May the Force be with you!).

In the film, Omer Simpson loses track of his daughter Maggie, who jumps into Baby Yoda’s ride-on stroller and embarks on a space-faring adventure across the galaxy.

Maggie will bring an explosive space battle to Springfield in the short film, which celebrates all things Star Wars.

The Simpsons is the longest-running prime-time scripted television series in the US. This is the 32nd season of the series that has won 35 Emmy Awards, seven People’s Choice Awards and 13 Writers Guild of America Awards.
