Jodie Comer she is nominated for a Tony Award for her first Broadway performance in the play Prima Facie. The “Killing Eve” star won an Olivier Award for Best Actress in London for the monologue, which transferred to New York in April.

Jodie Comer stars as a lawyer who defends men accused of rape who then assault her. In the Best Actress category, Comer is up against Audra MacDonald (Ohio State Murders), who has won more Tonys than any other performer.

Jessica Hecht and Jessica Chastain were recognized for their performances in A Doll’s House, which opened on Broadway in March. “Prima Facie,” written by Susie Miller, missed out on a Best Play nomination.
