A video document from the spiral that had destroyed shops in the western suburbs and Piraeus and on May Day “fell” into the hands of the authorities, Skai.gr brings to the surface.

Since mid-April, the gang had become the fear and terror of shopkeepers, as according to the case file against them, they “hit” a different shop every day.

Police officers of the Western Attica Security Sub-Directorate who had undertaken the investigations, comparing and correlating the robberies, were led to the conclusion that they were carried out by the same people.

As can be seen in the video document, the two perpetrators, one of whom is of medium height and stout and the other taller and thinner, wearing helmets and having their facial features covered, threatened the cashiers mainly with machetes and large knives and after immobilizing them they took the collections.

They then escaped on motorbikes.

The gang’s targets were OPAP agencies, convenience stores and gas stations.

After their arrest, seven cases of robbery, two attempted robberies and six thefts were solved.

In the video document, which is from a robbery of an OPAP store in Aegaleo, their method of action can be seen.

The two perpetrators, having covered their facial features with a motorcycle helmet, entered the agency and with the threat of a knife brought by one of them, immobilized the employee and removed the amount of €4,000 from the cash register.

They then boarded a light-colored two-wheeler and fled.
