Ukraine’s Eurovision 2014 representative, Mariya Yaremchuk, will perform a medley of well-known songs from her country, on a musical journey through time. The journey will conclude, with the joint appearance of Mariya, rapper OTOY and 14-year-old representative of Ukraine in Junior Eurovision 2022, Zlata Dzyunka.

Also, the show “Be who you want to be” will be presented, which celebrates the fact that Eurovision is open to everyone, without restrictions. Three drag performers, together with a troupe of dancers, will present an impressive, pop show on stage in Liverpool, which will be unforgettable.

Like the first semi-final, the second one will be held at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, as after last year’s victory by Ukraine, it was decided that Great Britain would host this year’s event due to the ongoing war in Ukraine.

The live broadcast of the competition from Liverpool starts at 22:00 (Greece time), with Maria Kozakou and Jenny Melita to welcome the viewers of ERT1 and ERTFLIX, as well as the listeners of the Second Program of ERA.

Also, only the TV audience will decide which 10 countries will qualify for the final, which will take place on May 13. So tonight, in addition to the 16 countries participating in it, citizens from countries that will soon be announced by the EBU (European Broadcasting Union) and do not take part in this year’s competition (as a single “Rest of the World” vote) have the right to vote as well and the United Kingdom, Spain and Ukraine who have already qualified for the final, the first two as members of the Big Five and Ukraine as the winner of last year’s event.
