Ice Cube threatened to sue anyone who attempted to use it artificial intelligence (AI) to recreate his voice.

The 53-year-old rapper, whose real name is O’Shea Jackson Sr, took part in a discussion about Artificial Intelligence and its use to create fake songs and artist voices.

During his appearance on the Full Send podcast, Ice Cube clarified his position. “I don’t want to hear an AI Drake song“, he said referring to his songs Drake that were created by AI and appeared on YouTube and TikTok last month.

“Yeah, I don’t want to hear that ****. He should sue whoever managed to do this“, write down.

Podcast host Kyle Forgerd then asked Ice Cube what he would do if he were in a similar situation.

“I would sue ….whoever did this and the people and platform that released it,” he replied. “It’s like a sample, you know what I mean? No one can take your original voice and edit it without having to pay“, he emphasized.

“I think AI is demonic and I think there will be a backlash from people“, he said.

In recent months, several artists including Drake, The Weeknd and Frank Ocean have been influenced by tracks created by Artificial Intelligence.
