“And this feeling was so exciting, it was not something I thought I would feel. It gave me, in many ways, a new relationship with the idea of ​​loving and accepting yourself».

Now, she’s one of the new faces of Gucci Guilty, a first for Page, who has never fronted a perfume or beauty product campaign before. With their co-stars A$AP Rocky and Julia Garner, the campaign directed by Glen Luchford is an ode to the concept of hearth, literally and figuratively.

Talking about smells that bring him nostalgia, he says: “I think it’s the ocean. Algae, milk in the air. I’m from Nova Scotia and it just does something, it just takes me right back home».

And on what makes a good perfume for the wearer, he explains:It has to do with feeling that you trust yourself, it can give a courage, a sensuality maybe. That beautiful mix of feeling encouraged but also open». She had no intention of participating in a fragrance campaign: “It just happened. I felt so far away from perfumes and fashion. Now that I really feel at home and comfortable with myself for the first time and feeling that way present and happy, I now understand more about fashion or fragrance, what it is that people enjoy and the impact that May have. It’s a new kind of challenge and it’s great to be a part of it».

Has his relationship with perfumes changed over the years? “In fact, what attracted me never changed. It’s a bit of a stereotype, but as a little kid I used to go into my half brother’s room to steal some cologne. The ability to be completely comfortable and confident and at home in myself, that’s what changed dramatically“, he emphasized.

On the experience of shooting for the campaign, she says: “Such beautiful memories! It wasn’t something I’d done before; with these super amazing talents and everyone at Gucci and Julia and Rocky, it was the most enjoyable, comfortable, good-natured, fun experience.
