The members of ‘Nine Inch Nails’TRed Reznor and Atticus Ross they wrote the music for the film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Havoc), as confirmed on Twitter by the director of the new film, Jeff Rowe.

After one of Reznor’s friends, skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, leaked the news during his podcast, Rowe tweeted: “Well, now that my teenage hero @tonyhawk has leaked that my music heroes are doing this, I can add that the score is absolutely AMAZING. Exciting, scary, heartbreaking, full of sounds I didn’t know existed. I don’t have the vocabulary to describe it. I love it so much».

Seth Rogen, one of the film’s actors, writers and producers, added on Instagram: “It’s been an exciting process and I can’t wait for you all to see this film and hear this incredible music».

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is out in US theaters on Wednesday, August 2. The film features voice acting by Rogen, Post Malone, Maya Rudolph, Ice Cube, Paul Rudd, Hannibal Buress and more.

In recent years, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have scored scores for Mank, Soul, Bones and All, Empire of Light, HBO’s Watchmen and more. Nine Inch Nails’ most recent albums, Ghosts V: Together and Ghosts VI: Locusts, were released in March 2020.
