A sound tribute to those who served, are serving or will serve in the Special Forces and the Special Operations Forces was prepared by GEETHA, on the occasion of the completion, this year, of eighty years since the formation of the legendary Holy Corps of the Middle East (1942-2022), of the first organized Greek Expeditionary Unit.
The 9th in a row of military themed podcasts is entitled “From the Sacred Corps of Christodoulos Tsigande to the modern Special Warfare Command”, a story of struggles, heroic deeds and sacrifices, a story of the Greek Special Forces.
The recording of the podcast was attended by Gerasimos Tsigantes, great-grandson of the legendary first commander of the Holy Corps of the Middle East Christodoulos Tsigante, as well as the centennial general Hierolochitis Konstantinos Korkas, who recounts his memories.
It is noted that on January 9, General Ierolochitis Konstantinos Korkas turned 101 years old.
