The exhibition “Taylor Swift: Storyteller” ends on September 4
Exhibition of its objects Taylor Swift hosted at Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) of New York. “Taylor Swift: Storyteller” features the 12-time GRAMMY-winning songwriter’s artistic reinvention of herself. Creations from fashion houses she wore in concert are presented alongside props, jewelry, memorabilia, video clips and wall projections of her graphic lyrics.
Among the exhibition’s highlights are the cheerleader and ballerina ensembles from the 2014 music video for ‘Shake It Off’, the red wedding dress and groom outfit from ‘I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)’ , directed in 2021 by Blake Lively, the sparkling ensemble from 2022’s ‘Bejeweled’ directed by Taylor Swift.

In total, about 50 items are on display, including guitars he used in live performances.

Rodgers insists you don’t have to be a Taylor Swift fan to be drawn in by the exhibition. “Yes, this is about Taylor Swift, but this is bigger than Taylor Swift. Actually, it’s about our culture and how women are presented, how we think about women and write about them. Those are the ideas we wanted to explore,” he said.
