After the news that a fifth sequel to the film series “John Wick” is in early development by Lionsgate, it has been announced that a video game based on the action franchise will be released.

For example, the TV series “The Continental” is set to answer many of the questions fans have long had about the franchise, while the spin-off film “Ballerina” starring Ana de Armas follows the former ballerina, killer from the movie “John Wick: Chapter 3”.
Lionsgate has now hinted at expanding into AAA video games, but hasn’t revealed more about its plans, or whether the films’ star Keanu Reeves will be involved.
Mike Bithel released a John Wick game in 2020, John Wick Hex. It was a strategy game and a prequel to the John Wick universe in terms of its story. Also a VR (Virtual Reality) game John Wick Chronicles was released in 2017.
