The first “big” royal wedding in Jordan in almost 30 years
Few hours left for him marriage of the 28-year-old Crown Prince of Jordan, Hussein bin Abdullah II, to his fiancee of Saudi nationality, an architect by profession, Rajwa Al-Saif.
The religious ceremony will take place tonight at Zahran Palace in Amman, where Hussein’s parents, King Abdullah and Queen Rania, were married in 1993.

The festive events in the country have started for a week while the climate in capital Amman is enthusiastic, as it is about him first “large” royal wedding in Jordan for almost 30 years.
In fact, the royal fans have been excited since – at the last moment – it was confirmed that the wedding will be attended by the Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate as the two successors are on friendly terms.

The couple is already in Amman.

Last week, Queen Rania threw the bride’s traditional henna party, expressing her love for Raja Al Saif.
The bride will be accompanied to the palace by the crown prince’s younger siblings, Prince Hashem and Princess Salma, while the ceremony will be attended by just 140 guests, close relatives of the couple and both families.
After the wedding ceremony, the couple will pass through the city for the traditional wedding parade and head to Al-Husseiniyya Palace accompanied by a motorcade that will include eight red supercars and eleven motorcycles.

Among the dignitaries at the wedding reception to be hosted by King Abdullah II and Queen Rania – in addition to Britain’s royal couple – are several European royals such as Prince Frederik and Princess Mary of Denmark, Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden and Prince Haakon of Norway.
Also will Queen Maxima and the King attend? Willem Alexander of Holland.
Among the guests who have confirmed their presence is US First Lady Jill Biden, as according to the Associated Press, “President Joe Biden and the First Lady have a deep and long-standing friendship with the parents of the Crown Prince, the King Abdullah II and Queen Rania”.
