Wolf Maya pronounces on Alexandre Frota’s accusation of harassment: ‘Deplorable person’

Accused of harassment by former federal deputy Alexandre Frota, Wolf Maya decided to speak out. The former director of soap operas and owner of a theater school denied that he would have called the actor to his room during the recording of a production and there asked him to take off his pants. “In the past, Alexandre Frota did the best work with me as an actor and I didn’t have to fuck him for that. We were friends”, he began.

Maya, who claimed to be traveling abroad, continued: “In the present, he has become this deplorable person and has lost all his friends. Frota’s statement about Wolf happened on the podcast “It’s nothing personal” and, according to Frota, the proposal was made during the recording of the soap opera “Livre Para Voar”, which aired in 1985 on Globo. Marco Nanini revealed a romance with Wolf in his newly released biography.

Alexandre said that, at the time, the actors in the plot spent time living in Poços de Caldas, in Minas Gerais, for the recordings. “Wolf ran after me in Poços de Caldas. He called me into the room and said: ‘Take off your pants, dammit’. And I kind of ran into the room and said: ‘Damn it, Wolf , you are crazy?’ And I took it and left the room. He was in a bathrobe. He’s going to be pissed about it. It was just this once and then we became friends”, said Frota, laughing, during the interview.

According to Alexandre Frota, after that episode, they got closer, but the director never brought up the subject again. “After that I did other jobs with them, I did [a peça] ‘Blue Jeans’, and he never brought it up with me, like: ‘Wow, do you remember when we were making the soap opera'”, he concluded.
