The sertanejo singer Cristiano, from the duo with Zé Neto, announced that his newborn son, Miguel, will have to undergo heart surgery. In a publication this Saturday (3) on Instagram, he reported that the child was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallout, a rare condition known for malformations in the heart muscle, aorta and pulmonary valve.
The variation had already been identified in Miguel, three months ago, when he was still in his mother’s womb. “Miguel has congenital heart disease, he’s still going to undergo surgery to correct his little heart, but you know what?! Everything worked out, Jesus is on the boat!”, said Cristiano.
The artist also said that faith was what gave him hope after being “completely lost”. “Fear dominated my body, mind and soul, thinking about the possibility of losing my son, I cried many nights alone, just me and God, I had to be strong and be strong and give security to my wife, my family, but you know what? where did so much strength come from? From God… from complete trust in him.”
Finally, he thanked the support of the fans and his wife Paula. “God used you a lot, he used your faith, you were fundamental, you are an intercessor in this story, we strengthened together, I admire your faith, you never softened and always trusted”, she reinforces.
Miguel’s birth was announced by Cristiano, on social media, this Friday (2).
