• Speech “The reality of intersex people in Greece” at the Hellenic American Union

On Tuesday, June 6, at Theater of the Hellenic American Union there will be a talk on the topic “The reality of intersex people in Greece”. The speech is part of a series of events to inform and empower the voice of LGBTI+ people, as part of pride month. In the speech, in which Vasiliki Vouvaki, Nikoletta Pikramenou, Fotini Kokkinaki and Phoivos Symeonidis participate, an analysis will be made of what “intersex” means, which terminology is correct to use when we associate with or refer to intersex people and reference will be made to Law 4958/ 2022 and articles 17-20 which radically changed life and recognized the fundamental rights of intersex people in Greece.
