Captain America 4’s title, ‘New World Order’ is no longer valid. Marvel Studios announced on social media that the highly anticipated fourth Captain America film – and the first starring Anthony Mackie – will be titled ‘Brave New World’.

The news was accompanied by the first photo from filming, which began in March. It shows Anthony Mackie wearing the superhero costume and chatting with the legendary Harrison Ford, who plays General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, a role he took over after the death of William Hurt.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the fourth “Captain America” ​​movie will take place after the events of the movie “Avengers: Endgame” and the Disney+ series, “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”, released in 2021.

The script is signed by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson together with the American-Nigerian Julius Onah who will also be at the helm of the direction, continuing the journey of Sam Wilson as Captain America.

The film also stars Tim Blake Nelson, Liv Tyler, Shira Haas, Danny Ramirez and Carl Lumbly.

“Captain America: Brave New World” is expected in theaters on May 3, 2024.
