‘In the short term, my goal is to be a presenter’, says ex-BBB Domitila Barros

For many people, she was a kind of BBB 23 moral champion. In a way, maybe she really is: despite having finished in sixth place, Domitila Barros is full of dreams and projects.

Also present at São João da Thay, the charity party promoted by influencer Thaynara OG in São Luís (MA), the 38-year-old from Pernambuco has been causing a stir and drawing applause wherever she goes.

This Tuesday, she revealed on her Instagram profile the beginning of a partnership with the Star + streaming platform. But for now, Domi hasn’t been cast in any serial role yet, although this is one of her dreams.

“My short-term goal is to be a presenter. I’m taking a course at Globo to improve myself. I’m also going to work on my diction, to ‘clean up’ any remnants of German [a modelo viveu na Alemanha por muitos anos, onde chegou a ser miss] and specialize in the Brazilian market. I need to learn to speak slower! But don’t worry, I won’t lose my accent! I will continue to be ‘flour’, she laughs.

“People tell me that they really liked seeing me as I am on Big Brother, and they want to continue seeing me as myself before I embody a character. I would like to run a program that mixes entertainment with information. Because I think that people it has to bring information to the people, but in an accessible way. It cannot be limited to the elite or academics”.

“But, in 2024, I do plan to act in soap operas and series. And maybe my documentary will also come out next year”.

Domitila is still investing in her singing career, and promises news soon. And she continues to act as a sustainable influencer – a function for which, by the way, she just received an award at the Cannes Film Festival.
