Culture and arts experience on the island of Andros offers for the ninth year the Andros International Festival from July 30 to August 25, 2023, under the artistic direction of Pantelis Voulgaris.
In the Open Theater of Andriotiki Country will host some of the most important theater performances and concerts of the summer, as well as artistic actions by local organizations.

A special place in the program is the projection of short films edited by Pantelis Voulgaris entitled “Old Friends – First Pictures” and will take place at the Cinema Court of Andros Cinema Club.
“Many beautiful works were left out, I wish August could hold more” notes Pantelis Voulgaris, talking about the many and interesting proposals for participation that were submitted to the 9th event. The selections, he emphasizes, “were made in a combination of many criteria with the aim of creating a quality and at the same time attractive program for the viewers. In the past years, almost all the important artistic figures, almost all the great actors, musicians and people of art in general have passed through the stone theater.
He notes that thanks to the Festival, Andros ceased to be deprived of such performances, entered the map of the cultural summer throughout Greece and adds: “And this year we will meet in a rendezvous with good theater, good music, good cinematographic images. And as always with the new events of the local artistic bodies”.
“Always, the partners and I are anxious about people’s opinion. I wish the people of Andriot and the visitors of the island to live beautiful evenings, to see the joy and emotion on their faces again, to hear the applause for the artists on stage” concludes Pantelis Voulgaris.
The Festival is organized by A.M.K.E. “Friends of the Andros Festival”, with the support of Andriots and non-sponsors, volunteers, employees and the Municipality of Andros.
