One of the sons of singer Belo was arrested, this Tuesday morning (12), at the Rio Bus Station, in Rio de Janeiro. According to the artist’s press office, Paulo Artur da Silva Vieira was returning from a show in São Paulo, when he was approached by police, who found a package with marijuana.
He was arrested and taken to the police station for possession of the substance. In a note sent to F5the Military Police reported that Paulo was released after signing a detailed term and that he will respond to the Special Criminal Court.
The detention comes at a time when the musician is going through a good phase in his career. He is one of the contestants on Dança dos Famosos (Globo) and is paired with Camila Lobo. He also debuted as an actor in the series “Veronika” (Glooplay), expected to reach streaming in 2024, in which he plays a police officer.
The same character gave him a participation in the third season of “Archangel Renegade”, and the recordings are in progress.
This isn’t the first time the singer has gone through this situation. In 2020, Isadora Alckmin Vieira, his youngest daughter, was arrested on suspicion of being part of a gang specializing in electronic scams.
