Chris Hemsworth, known for playing Thor in theaters, participated in Podpah and spoke about surfing, Brazil and all the highlights of “Resgate 2” in an episode recorded this Friday night (16). In São Paulo, the Australian participates in the programming of Tudum, a Netflix news event, but takes the opportunity to interact with Brazilian fans.

He confesses that there wasn’t time to get to know the country and the city, calmly. The surfer Ítalo Ferreira has already exchanged an idea with him. “He was trying to drag me into a wave pool, and he even tried to organize it, but unfortunately I don’t have time for that. But when I come back next time, I’ll definitely put it on my schedule,” he confided.

Still on the wave stars, Hemsworth spoke about the icons of the sport in the country. “I met Pedro Scooby this morning and I did an interview with him today, the guy is fantastic. Gabriel Medina, Filipe Toledo… you have some of the best surfers in the world, if not the best. trying to reach (laughs).”

To close the knowledge about Brazil, the actor was presented with a Corinthians shirt. Football is one of his children’s passions – India, 11, and the twins Sasha and Tristan, 9. ” When I was a kid we didn’t play in Australia, we played rugby or Australian football. But my kids love to play football. They will like it”, guaranteed the artist.

ACTION

This Friday, Netflix released “Rescue 2”, a feature film starring the Australian, who engages in more explosions and endless chases. Asked if he knows how many people “died” throughout the plot, fun is guaranteed. “The score was high there (laughs). It’s survival instinct, it’s crazy, situations you go through, that you have to do. Me and all the stuntmen, all the actors, we take it to the limit, to the extreme. But, look, you get exhausted every day, but the reward, as I said, is up there”, he adds.

The interest in action films came from adolescence, a period in which “The Labyrinth”, “The Neverending Story” and productions by Schwarznegger, Stallone and Van Damme became his favorites. With his brothers, he tried to recreate some of the backyard scenes. “When I really decided to become an actor, it was because of this fantasy, this adventure that it would bring me, instead of that part more of artistic expression. I think that entered my career later”, he analyzes. “What I like now is that this is an avenue of expression for me. It gives me an avenue that gives me an avenue of expression that I don’t get anywhere else.”
