Complaints by Irish people – and to their Association – about uncomfortable conditions at the OPAP Arena

Complaints by the Irish about the conditions they claim they faced in OPAP Arena.

In particular, the complaints of the fans of Ireland who were in the stadium for the game with Greek national team they have two legs. On the one hand, they emphasize that while they had a ticket, they waited for an hour outside the gates and on the other hand, that they entered them the wrong way, as a result of which they are cramped.

Nearly 10 minutes to kick off and the turnstiles to the AEK stadium have been locked to thousands of Irish fans outside.

For the above – which have been published both on Social Media and in the press, such as in the Irish “Mirror” – accuse and the organizers but also her Federation of their country. It should be noted that the latter took a stand, stating that its ranks are aware of what took place at the New Philadelphia stadium and that they are in discussions with the Greek Federation and UEFA.

“The Irish FA is aware of the problems experienced by our fans as they entered the pitch for the game against Greece. The Irish FA contacted EPO officials before the match and action was taken on these matters. The Irish FA is re-examining these issues in discussions with the EPO and UEFA“, they say.
