For the above – which have been published both on Social Media and in the press, such as in the Irish “Mirror” – accuse and the organizers but also her Federation of their country. It should be noted that the latter took a stand, stating that its ranks are aware of what took place at the New Philadelphia stadium and that they are in discussions with the Greek Federation and UEFA.
“The Irish FA is aware of the problems experienced by our fans as they entered the pitch for the game against Greece. The Irish FA contacted EPO officials before the match and action was taken on these matters. The Irish FA is re-examining these issues in discussions with the EPO and UEFA“, they say.
