The group that has given us some of the most beautiful and cosmopolitan evenings, returns on June 26th to Athens, for a concert in the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens.

With songs from different parts of the world, eras and styles, creating the most intoxicating musical cocktail of the summer, with their familiar and beloved hits, but also new songs from their new album Thomas Lauderdale Meets the Pilgrims, which captures the love of the leader of the band for the surf band The Pilgrims. The populous band from Oregon, USA, loved from the first moment in Greece, with “Sympatique” (Je ne veux pas travailler), surprised us with their performance in “Children of Piraeus”, traveled us to classic Hollywood with “Amado mio” and in charming Italy with “Una notte a Napoli”, he knows well how to mix disparate ingredients in the most tasteful way.

Comprised of musicians from different countries and musical influences, from classical music to jazz and rock, the band was formed in 1994 by Portland, Oregon-based pianist Thomas Lauderdale. In 1997, the singer China Forbes, who had worked with Lauderdale many times in the past, joined the group. At the Technopolis live, in addition to the landmark songs we all know, they will also present songs from their new album Thomas Lauderdale Meets the Pilgrims. An album that started to be recorded in 1996, but since then remained unfinished.
