The great and beloved Frederick Forrest has died. Thanks to all his fans and friends for their support over the last few months. He was an excellent actor and a brilliant person and I was lucky to have him in my life“, the actress wrote in her post.

The two starred in several films together, but stood out for their appearance in the 1979 classic rock musical ‘The Rose’. Forrest also had important starring and supporting roles in several classic Hollywood films of the 1970s and 1980s. These include many Francis Ford Coppola classics such as The Conversation (1974), Revelations Now! (1979), but also “The Missouri Runaways” by Arthur Penn and “The Rose” by Mark Rydell.

In fact, with his appearance in Reidel’s film, he received his only nomination for an Oscar in the category of best actor. Forrest was born in December 1936 in Texas. He had a childhood dream of becoming an actor, but his nervousness didn’t help him pass any auditions. However, he then attended Texas Christian University, thereby receiving a minor in acting. He then specialized in radio and television studies.

Despite his strong start in Hollywood, his later career was anything but. His last role was in the movie “All the King’s Men”.
