Concerts, theater and musical performances, dance parties and musical tributes set the tone of entertainment from one end of the city to the other this summer. THE Municipality of Athens through Organization of Culture, Sports and Youth (OPANDA) converts from July 1st to August 4th her Athena on a large stage, inviting young and old to take part in the rich entertainment program that will unfold in the center and neighborhoods of the city, with free entry.

A total of 59 events will fill 30 neighborhoods of Athens with rhythm, sounds and images in all seven municipal communities. Theaters, squares, parks and courtyards become for more than a month the summer “roof” of young and established artists who participate in the event.

In his statement, the Mayor of Athens, Kostas Bakoyannis, emphasized: “This year, the great outdoor celebration “spreads” across the entire city to offer Athenians and Athenians summer evenings full of quality entertainment. We are happy, because once again great artists responded to our invitation to participate in this special cultural event planned with great interest and care by OPANDA. We invite young and old to every park, every square, every open space of Athens – where the heart of “All Athens is a stage” will beat this year – to come and spend unforgettable summer moments in the city”.

From her side, the President of OPANDA, Niki Arabatzi, said: “The program “All Athens is a Stage” offers this summer to everyone daily access to entertainment, with selected cultural events in each neighborhood, with free admission. This year, the city’s big stage is growing even bigger. The points of culture are multiplying, an element that highlights our effort for each neighborhood to join the cultural fabric of Athens. We urge the Athenian public to come and meet their favorite artists in every corner of the city for a “dive” in entertainment and culture”.

The “All of Athens is one scene» is the continuation of last year’s successful program of the Municipality of Athens, which this year also sent an open invitation to artists to submit their proposals for the event. The program is organized by the Organization for Culture, Sports and Youth of the Municipality of Athens (OPANDA), within the framework of Culture is Athens, bringing together the public and artists.

At which points is this year’s date of the event held?
