‘It’s no use complaining’, says Agatha Moreira about Rodrigo Simas’ bisexuality

Over the five years of relationship with Rodrigo Simas, Agatha Moreira noticed different moments in relation to passion: times when the love for her boyfriend, with whom she shares an apartment in Rio de Janeiro, was intense; and times when she was least passionate.

In an interview with the newspaper O Globo, the actress says that she does not fall into the trap of believing that relationships are forever. “You can’t say that I’ll be attracted to Rodrigo forever, I don’t want to fall into that hypocrisy. There are times when we’re less in love with each other. But, even when we love each other more, we try to talk and understand if it’s good that way, or if it’s about time we tried another format.”

Together since 2018, the actor also came out as bisexual in March of this year, but that did not change the relationship between the two, according to Agatha. “I handle it superbly. Dating a friend is knowing what you’re buying. Afterwards, there’s no point in complaining and wanting a refund,” she said.

The actors have known each other since 2012, when they played together as brothers in “Malhação: Intensa como vida” (Globo), but they only fell in love years later, behind the scenes of the soap opera “Pride and Passion” (2018).

Unlike the artist, who defined himself in a letter from the acronym LGBTQIA+, the model refuses labels regarding her own sexuality because she is always on the move. For her, using some definition feels like “forever” and “never again”.

“I understand the importance that society attaches to labels, but it is something that does not fit in any sector of my life. I see that human beings are constantly changing, the world introduces us to new realities and we adapt”, he said. .

Agatha said that, when she was younger, she always had a lot of desire to become a mother, but that, over the years, the desire was lessening. So she got an IUD [método contraceptivo] to avoid a possible pregnancy.

“I’m in favor of legalization [do aborto], but considering the stability of my financial situation, I would not take the baby. Therefore, I chose to place an IUD, so as not to leave room for error. As a good Capricorn, I like planning.”
