BBB 22: Ipatinga City Hall responds to Natália after calling the city a roça

by

The city hall of Ipatinga (MG) used social networks to respond to the comment that Natália Deodato, a participant in Big Brother Brasil 22, made about the municipality. She compared the mining town to a farm in conversation with colleagues in confinement. This is her second controversial statement on the reality show in less than 24 hours.

“Ipatinga no BBB? That’s right, we were mentioned on the small screen. So, for those who don’t know, let’s give a quick preview of this beautiful, wooded and super welcoming city”, said the official profile of the city hall on Instagram.

In the message, the profile administrator says that, although the city has a fantastic rural area, it houses tourist spots to walk around and enjoy good times. “We are not a countryside Natália Deodato! But we have several environments that allow us to cater for all tastes: those who like countryside can also come here.”

The profile highlighted that the city is home to a large steel mill, is the 8th largest GDP in Minas Gerais, is among the highest consumption potential in the state, has a shopping mall, cinema and theater.

The city government also spoke about investments in sports and highlighted that the athlete Paulo André, who is in the BBB, has already competed in the city. The profile administrator ended the message inviting Natalia to visit the city. ” Let’s go! When you leave the BBB, come to know Ipatinga for real.

Netizens commented that, if it depends on them, next week Natália will be able to visit the city referring to the reality wall. “Respect my metropolis,” wrote one woman.

“Where did this girl come from… I just know that she never came here… totally wrong… We are a model city in several points and one of the main ones in green areas and infrastructure!”, commented an Instagram user.

Natalia was also criticized on social media for having romanticized slavery in Brazil. She told other brothers that blacks were enslaved because they were more “efficient and strong.”

“I am black, there really is a history that we came as slaves. Why? Because we were strong. Why did we come as slaves? Because we were good at what we did. do that [trabalho escravo], I wouldn’t be able to”, said Natalia.

Many internet users asked to call Lumena Aleluia (BBB 21) to redefine what racism is for Natália and even created memes with the photo of the former BBB. “By this time, Lumena would already be redefining this Natália there beautifully”, wrote a Twitter user. “How bad Lumena is to put Natália in her place”, comments another user.

Even Lumena posted a funny video on Instagram knocking on a door to try to talk to Natália and saying that she won’t put her finger on her face. “Me trying to talk to Natalia to reframe the information she brought because it’s false,” Lumena wrote. The former BBB even asked: “Does Boninho allow me to come back to have a conversation with Natália?”

Other netizens who compared Natália with Sérgio Camargo, president of the Palmares Foundation, say that racism is a term invented by the left to promote victimization. “Natália will leave the BBB straight for Fundação Palmares to be a direct advisor to the president of the foundation”, commented an internet user.
