“I walk, I walk through the forest …” – A narrative show for an adult audience

by

Once upon a time it was a magical forest … and while the sun was walking in the sky a scream was heard …. or thousands of screams? One wolf or thousands of wolves ….. appeared … or appeared ….

“… the girl had done nothing to him, but he pushed her on the rocks …”
“… and weddings and joys took place and you had a lot of fun … the gifts came as if the guests had left. Bruises on the hands, feet, head and heart. And that lasted ten years …”
“… what every woman should have done, without children, who loves and honors her husband … to burn alive with him …”
Folk tales told by Eskimos, Epirotes, but also tales heard along the banks of the Ganges.
They tell us about pain, violence and homicide.
In harsh words, true, simple and always with the wisdom of fairy tales.
In the end, however, come words of consolation, words that speak of brave women made of light.
The show is dedicated to all the women of the world. To those who live in today, lived in yesterday or will live in tomorrow. And those who do not live among us, we do not forget. Their memory is alive!
