Events for the little friends of Piraeus have been planned by the local municipality, with a multi-thematic program, giving moments of joy and fun until the end of July, in parks, squares and playgrounds in all five municipal communities of the city.

Children will have the opportunity to participate for free, in educational activities, such as robotics, creative workshops and summer games, to watch Karagiozi performances and children’s films in open-air cinemas, etc.

The mayor of Piraeus, Yiannis Moralis, said in his statement: We are starting the “Summer in the city” with joy, with many free events in open spaces, such as parks, squares, playgrounds for the children of Piraeus and not only.

We are satisfied because we can offer every municipal community of Piraeus, in every neighborhood, a pleasant way out for the children and parents who stay this month in the city. I hope everyone enjoys it. For our part, we continue to plan and implement beautiful things for our children.”

The deputy mayor for Outreach, Tourism and European Programs, Adriana Zarakeli, in her statement pointed out:

“We know how important it is for parents to be able to have fun with their children close to home, in their neighborhood, with their friends, and we are happy that we as a municipality can offer these fun and creative activities for children free of charge».
