Daughter of presenter Sandra Annenberg and reporter Ernesto Paglia, Elisa Annenberg said she was not surprised by her parents’ reaction when she told her about her sexual orientation. The performing arts student posted on International LGBTQIA+ Pride Day (June 28) about love and spoke about her sexuality. She highlighted the support of the family: “My parents were very receptive and I didn’t expect anything less, because they are very cultured people who have always shown support for the community”.
Elisa acknowledged that she always felt embraced by people and that the decision to make her sexual orientation public was a decision not thought through. “It was a very last-minute decision, it came from the heart. It’s a real feeling that we shouldn’t give satisfaction to anyone. What matters is knowing that we are respected, without being afraid of suffering violence,” he said. in an interview with Gshow.
She also emphasized that she has observed a greater naturalness in people in relation to the LGBTQIA+ community: “More and more people are being more kind and respectful, even if they have different opinions”.
Elisa reinforced the issue of love between people. “It is important for us to know that we are not doing anything wrong, on the contrary. We are loving who we love and that is what matters. Whoever does not love his neighbor is the one who is wrong”, commented the daughter of the holder of the “Globo Repórter” bench.
