Samara Felippo reported on social networks, this Friday (14), an unpleasant episode that happened recently during a flight from Spain to Portugal. The actress said she called a Brazilian passenger a racist after the woman criticized the selection of black actresses as protagonists of several soap operas.

Interpreter of the character Celina from the soap opera “Chocolate com Pimenta” (2003), which was recently shown again on Globo, Samara replied to the woman: “That’s good, right!? and it’s very necessary, ma’am”. continued: ‘Oh no, I understand. Not that I am…’, recalled Samara, noting that her face turned red before responding to the second comment. “‘You are!!! Racist! For sure and believe that more and more black people are going to be on television, “she added.

The actress also recalled that there was a beginning of discomfort among the passengers who witnessed the scene. The passenger’s daughter, then, entered the middle of the conversation and apologized. She commented on having left close by, but wasted no time: “Tell your mother that I have two black daughters. Thanks to these black people who are increasingly in soap operas, they feel they belong and are represented”, concluded Samara, who republished a image with cast of “Malhação”. She covered the face of Mário Frias, former Secretary of Culture in the Bolsonaro government and former colleague of the plot, with a clown emoji.

Samara is the mother of two girls, Alicia and Lara, from her relationship with former basketball player Leandrinho Barbosa. In the comments, followers sent messages of support. “Unfortunately, some people are still proud of this thought. They are racist and arrogant,” commented one fan. “The fight is long and hard against racists,” added another follower.
