by

Felipe Prior, a former participant of the reality show Big Brother Brasil and a 31-year-old architect, was sentenced to six years in prison in a semi-open regime for rape that took place in 2014.

In a video posted on Instagram, Prior expressed his gratitude for the messages of solidarity he has received. “First, I’m stopping by to thank you for the messages of solidarity you’re sending me on social media. I’m sure we’re going to win this battle,” she began.

However, the former BBB also asked his followers to avoid sending messages to the lawyers of the woman who accuses him: “I’m also here to ask you to stop sending messages to the lawyers of those who claim to have been attacked by me. The messages hinder my defense. All I don’t need right now is greater exposure.”

Prior emphasized that he needs the support and understanding of his followers in this difficult time: “I know that you are rooting for me. So, do not send messages to the lawyers or other people working on the cases. I need your strength and understanding at this moment. It is worth mentioning that I do not know who these people are sending these messages.

The former BBB reinforced his innocence and confidence in overcoming this situation: “I’m here to say that I’m innocent and that we’re going to overcome this. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, that’s what I have to say and a kiss for everyone.”

Felipe Prior was convicted in the first instance by Judge Eliana Cassales Tosi Bastos, from the 7th Criminal Court of São Paulo, in relation to a complaint made in 2020. The case is being processed in secrecy of Justice and the former BBB has the right to appeal freely.
