Collector’s copies of a self-portrait of him Johnny Deppwhich the Hollywood star says captures his “emotional exhaustion” during his legal battle with ex-wife Amber Heard, went on sale today for $1,950 each.

This self-portrait was created during a time that was… shall we say, a little dark and a little confusedJohnny Depp said of the portrait, which he began painting in 2021 at the studio of British illustrator Ralph Stedman, but finished earlier this year.

The American actor named this particular self-portrait “Five” because, when he started the project, he says he was “in the fifth year of madness”.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard they met on the set of the movie “The Rum Diary”, married in 2015, but their marriage lasted only a year and was followed by a multi-year legal battle.
