Jay McGuinness introduced his fans to the first chapter of his upcoming, first book “Blood Flowers”. The Wanted singer, actor and dancer announced in June that a young adult fantasy novel will be released on February 24, 2024.
Via Instagram, the singer shared a photo of a sample of the book published by the publishing house Scholastic along with the first chapter of “Blood Flowers”.

Scholastic releases a small sample of his upcoming projects each year and my first chapter is revealed, the singer captioned. “It feels so weird that it’s being made public after I’ve had it as a personal project for a long time,” he noted.
According to a press release, Blood Flowers is “an explosive new dystopian fantasy romance perfect for fans of The Hunger Games, The Atlas Six and Leigh Bardugo.”
