Actor Zachary Levi (Levi) (Zachary Levi) expressed his not-so-flattering opinion about the movies that Hollywood produces, speaking at Fan Expo Chicago, according to Entertainment Weekly.

“I personally feel that the content that comes out of Hollywood is garbage — they don’t care enough to make something great for you,” Levy said. “They don’t. How many times do you see a trailer and say, “Oh my god, that looks so cool!”. Then you go see the movie and it’s like, “What happened to me?” They know that since you have already bought the ticket and sat in the seat, they have your money. And the only way to change any of that is to not go in the trash. We must not pick through the trash. Will help. It will help a lot.”

Regarding the Hollywood actors’ strike, Levy said, “I fully support my union, the WGA, and the strike… But we also can’t forget about our fans during this strike. Fans who spend their money and energy traveling long distances to talk to us about our work that means so much to them, we should be able to engage.”
