THE Greta Gerwig revealed in an interview with Hollywood First Look that the Timotee Salame he visited the set of the movie “Barbie” which he directed, and expressed his complaint to her about not being able to act in the movie. Gerwig directed Salame in “Lady Bird” and “Little Women.” The director previously told CinemaBlend that Salame and her muse Saoirse Ronan had “flirted” with an appearance in “Barbie,” but their busy schedules prevented it.

“I tried to get them both into it. They both couldn’t do it,” Gerwig reiterated to Hollywood First Look. “Even though Timote came from the set and then said, ‘I should have been in it,’ and I was like, ‘I know! Why aren’t you in it?'”

The director said she had planned to have Salame and Ronan appear in ‘Barbie’ in a surprise appearance but ‘they both couldn’t make it and I was so upset. But I love them so much. But I felt like doing something without my kids. I mean, I’m not their mom, but I kind of feel like their mom.”
