Daughter-in-law of Faustão, model Schynaider Moura, 35, is well aware of the struggle of seeing a family member in line to receive a heart, something that now happens to the presenter. In 2022, her daughter Anne-Marie had to undergo a heart transplant.
Through social media, Moura even recorded the moments he spent with the young woman and warned about the importance of organ donation.
“The day to celebrate and commemorate a successful year of the heart transplant that gave her another opportunity to live a healthy life. The day she received her new heart, after a while on the waiting list and many days full of ups and downs , of uncertainties, anguish and a lot of fear”, she wrote in the caption of a video.
“Each day was transformed into hope, strength, faith and joy for being alive and being able to fight this battle”, highlighted Schynaider on social networks. “Organ transplant saves lives! It saved my daughter and gave her a second chance.”
Fausto Silva, 73, joined the SUS queue for a heart transplant. Admitted to Albert Einstein Hospital since August 5th, the presenter was diagnosed with heart failure and is now waiting for a compatible donor. Last year, Faustão even ran an awareness campaign to encourage organ donations alongside the doctor who takes care of his health.
