“Our party must have a strong identity, based on which it can appeal to a large part of society”, underlines Euclid Tsakalotos in an interview with the Editors’ Newspaper. “At the same time, it is necessary for our programmatic deepening to include priorities. It is even more necessary to convince the world of the logic of these priorities,” he says.

“The reversal of the climate will not be done with impressive moves, nor with wishes. He wants a long-term plan, political readiness and, above all, a competitive policy towards the ND. and Kyriakos Mitsotakis. Times don’t wait”, E. Tsakalotos notes, among other things, and adds:

“The Left has analyses, values ​​and proposals for society. At the same time it also works with the alternative example. If the dominant discourse puts forward the leader model, it is not possible for you to support socialism with democracy and freedom, a more collective and cooperative society, and for your own party not to be based on these principles. In a few words, the parties of the Left also have an educational role, in practice, not only declaratively – in a way the medium is also the message”.
