“I was very lucky to be able to do both, although I’m an actress, I never left the fashion world. Now it’s the norm, all actresses do campaigns. In the interview with Harper’s Bazaar magazine in Spain, the actress cites as an example her role with sexual appeal in “Malèna” (2000), where she played a 27-year-old girl who is constantly followed and observed by boys from the village where she lives.
She started on the catwalks at age 14 and subsequently dropped out of law school to pursue a career. But Monica says that, since she was a teenager, she wanted to get into acting, which was facilitated by the world of fashion.
